This bill amends the real estate transfer tax for mobile home parks in Maine. It exempts sales of mobile home parks to the majority of residents from the tax. Instead, the tax revenue from other sales is directed to the Housing Opportunities Fund within the Maine State Housing Authority. This change takes effect starting in fiscal year 2026-27.
