LD1757

Updates laws governing osteopathic physician licensing in Maine, including meeting requirements, fees, and temporary licensure.

This bill updates the laws governing osteopathic physician licensing in Maine. It changes the meeting schedule for the Board of Osteopathic Licensure, requiring regular monthly meetings instead of just one in June. It removes the requirement for a majority vote to grant a license and eliminates the need for specialty medical board certification or maintenance of certification for licensure. It also modifies the postgraduate training requirements, fees, and temporary licensure provisions.
