Designates the warden of the Maine State Prison as the chief administrative officer of the Bolduc Correctional Facility.

This bill designates the warden of the Maine State Prison as the chief administrative officer of the Bolduc Correctional Facility. It removes the power to appoint an assistant director and clarifies that deputy wardens appointed by the warden have the warden's powers, duties, obligations, and liabilities when the warden is absent or unable to perform the duties of the office. The warden is responsible for supervising employees, grounds, buildings, and equipment at the facility, and for maintaining suitable courses for academic and career and technical education of the prisoners.
