Establishes an adjunct dentist license for qualified dentists with non-U.S. degrees to practice under supervision.
This bill creates a new adjunct dentist license category for qualified dentists who do not hold a U.S. doctoral degree in dentistry, such as those with a bachelor of dentistry degree from outside the United States. These adjunct dentists can obtain a license to practice under the general supervision of a licensed dentist through a written practice agreement. The supervising dentist is responsible for all services performed by the adjunct dentist.
