Maine LD1566 provides compensation and reimbursement for expenses to board members with lived experience serving on advisory boards.

Maine LD1566 amends the law to allow board members with lived experience to receive compensation and reimbursement for expenses if they are not otherwise compensated by their employer or the entity they represent. This applies to members serving on advisory boards and boards with minimal authority.
