This resolve directs the Department of Marine Resources to seek input from the lobster management policy councils regarding the percentage of lobster traps that can be fished in secondary zones. The department must develop recommendations based on this input and submit a report to the Joint Standing Committee on Marine Resources by December 3, 2025. The committee may then submit related legislation to the Second Regular Session of the 132nd Legislature.
