Aligns Maine's definition of PFAS in pesticide regulation with federal standards.
The bill modifies the definition of "perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances" or PFAS in the Maine Pesticide Control Act of 1975 to match the United States Environmental Protection Agency's definition. It also applies this updated definition to the prohibition on selling pesticide products containing intentionally added PFAS. This ensures uniformity in PFAS regulation within Maine's pesticide laws.
