Establishes a commission to study Maine's natural gas role in clean energy transition and workforce equity.

The bill proposes to establish a commission to study the role of natural gas in Maine's clean energy transition and the establishment of a just and equitable transition for the workforce. It directs the Governor's Energy Office, in consultation with the Public Utilities Commission and the Office of the Public Advocate, to evaluate investment planning by gas utilities and consider a framework for commission oversight of future investments.
