Validates the City of South Portland's November 5, 2024 referendum and authorizes bond issuance for school improvements.

This bill validates the referendum conducted in the City of South Portland on November 5, 2024, which approved bond ordinances for school maintenance and safety improvements. The referendum faced legal technicalities due to an incorrect form of notice of election and a missing signed statement by the city treasurer. The bill authorizes the city to issue bonds up to $1,000,000 for school maintenance and $3,000,000 for school safety improvements, ensuring the bond marketability.
