Requires landlords to provide energy efficiency disclosure statements and meet insulation standards for rental housing in Maine.

The bill mandates that landlords provide tenants with energy efficiency disclosure statements and meet minimum insulation standards for residential rental properties. Beginning January 1, 2030, tenants can terminate their lease if they do not receive a signed energy efficiency disclosure statement. Starting January 1, 2035, tenants can terminate their lease if their dwelling unit does not meet the insulation standards.
