This bill allows assessors to set different tax rates for land and improvements on real property. The rates must be applied equally within each primary assessing area. The bill prohibits the use of other tax benefit programs that would otherwise be available to the owner of the real property. This Act applies to property tax years beginning on or after April 1, 2026.
