This bill amends the law to allow the Emergency Medical Services' Board to assess civil penalties for emergency medical services personnel who do not comply with protocols and training for administering naloxone hydrochloride or another opioid overdose-reversing medication. Failure to comply is a civil violation with a fine of up to $1,000 per violation.
