LD1354

Maine LD1354 allows liquor sales at outdoor stadiums, removes restrictions on sales to children, and prohibits exclusivity in licensee agreements.

Maine LD1354 modifies liquor licensing rules for outdoor stadiums. It removes the prohibition on selling malt liquor, wine, or spirits at events primarily involving children and in spectator stands. The bill allows sales by the glass in plastic or paper cups and permits spirits in original containers for club suites under specific conditions. Additionally, the bill prohibits exclusivity provisions in agreements between licensees and manufacturers, distributors, and brands, ensuring fair competition.
