Maine LD1300 strengthens implied warranty laws by requiring notification to online sellers and providing a complaint form for buyers.
Maine LD1300 mandates the Attorney General to inform online sellers, who remit $10,000 or more in sales tax to the State, about implied warranty laws. Additionally, the bill requires the Attorney General to offer an online complaint form for buyers to report any issues related to implied warranties.
