Establishes a commission to study blockchain technology and cryptocurrency impacts in Maine.

This resolve establishes the Commission to Study Fostering a Positive Economic Environment for Blockchain Technology and Cryptocurrency. The commission will review national data on blockchain technology and cryptocurrency, assess their current status in Maine, study nonfungible tokens, and compile legislative recommendations. The commission must submit a report by December 3, 2025, to the Joint Standing Committee on Health Coverage, Insurance and Financial Services, which can report out legislation based on the findings.
