Directs a study on the costs and funding of a universal health care plan for Maine.
Directs the Office of Affordable Health Care to study the costs and potential funding of a publicly funded, privately and publicly provided, universal health care plan for the State. The office shall submit a report with its findings and recommendations to the Joint Standing Committee on Health Coverage, Insurance and Financial Services. The joint standing committee may report out a bill to the Second Regular Session of the 132nd Legislature.
