Tpdf Text

Resolves to reduce energy costs and greenhouse gas emissions in Maine through energy contracts.

This resolve directs the Public Utilities Commission to explore opportunities for energy cost reduction and physical energy storage contracts. It also seeks information on replacement energy sources for natural gas in commercial and industrial uses. The Commission must contact gas utilities and natural gas pipeline utilities to negotiate favorable terms for energy cost reduction contracts, physical energy storage contracts, or other arrangements to reduce energy costs and greenhouse gas emissions.
