Study on promoting and using modern wood heating systems in Maine.
The Efficiency Maine Trust, in collaboration with the Department of Economic and Community Development, will study and recommend programs and incentives for modern wood heating systems. Representatives from the industry will assist in this study. A report with recommendations must be submitted to the Joint Standing Committee on Energy, Utilities and Technology by December 3, 2025. The committee may draft a bill based on the report for the Second Regular Session of the 132nd Legislature.
