The bill raises the debt limit of the Rockland Port District from $600,000 to $6,000,000. It allows the district to purchase, maintain, and operate commercial docking and wharf facilities for passenger and freight transportation by water. Additionally, the district can acquire facilities to support sustainable aquaculture and marine industries. All such property is exempt from taxation, except for property of the city of Rockland or other public service corporations or districts.
