Maine LD1180 amends the Maine Revised Statutes to prohibit businesses from offering incentives or requiring fees for customers who opt out of receiving paper billing statements. Instead, businesses may offer incentives for customers to accept electronic billing. The Attorney General is directed to adopt rules to implement this change.
