Maine LD1156 establishes provisions for the registration of military surplus vehicles. These vehicles, which are at least years old and were manufactured for military use, can be registered and used for participation in parades, exhibitions, off-road events, on-road club activities, tours, educational activities, and similar uses. They can also be used for transportation to and from these activities, maintenance, repair, sale, and occasional pleasure driving.
