Allows the Lewiston-Auburn Water Pollution Control Authority to operate under the name Lewiston Auburn Clean Water Authority.

This bill amends the charter of the Lewiston-Auburn Water Pollution Control Authority to allow the authority to operate under the assumed name of the Lewiston Auburn Clean Water Authority. The authority is responsible for operating, maintaining, and improving a sewage treatment plant and other facilities to receive and treat wastewaters from the City of Lewiston and the Auburn Sewerage District. The authority can assess administrative penalties of up to $1,000 per day for each violation by an industrial user of any pretreatment standard or requirement.
