An Act to Improve the Process for Mobile Home Owners to Purchase Their Mobile Home Park

Failed·6/4/25
Tpdf Text

This bill increases the required percentage of mobile home owners needed to petition for purchasing their park from 51% to 60%.

This bill amends the process for mobile home owners to purchase their mobile home park. It raises the threshold from 51% to 60% of mobile home owners needing to sign a petition to support the purchase. The mobile home park owner must then negotiate in good faith with the group of mobile home owners or their association. The bill also limits the number of times a mobile home owners' association can contact owners about the purchase. If the park owner accepts the offer, the group must secure financing within 90 days.
