Repeals the requirement to inform law enforcement officers when carrying a concealed handgun without a permit.

This bill repeals the existing law that mandates individuals carrying a concealed handgun without a valid permit to inform law enforcement officers during an arrest, detainment, or routine traffic stop. It also repeals the penalty for failing to comply with this requirement. The changes apply to all individuals in Maine carrying concealed handguns without a permit.
