This bill removes certain cost-of-living adjustment restrictions for retired members of the Law Enforcement Bargaining Unit who are 65 years of age or older. It applies to specific positions including game wardens, detectives, and rangers. The cost-of-living increases will apply to the entire retirement benefit instead of only a specified portion. Effective July 1, 2022, the increase applies to the portion of the retirement benefit up to $24,186.25.
