This bill repeals the laws that authorized the Maine Turnpike Authority to construct a connector to Gorham. It requires the Maine Turnpike Authority to resell the land purchased for the construction to the previous property owner or their heirs at the original purchase price. If the land cannot be sold to the previous owner, the Maine Turnpike Authority must transfer the land to the municipality for no consideration. The municipality must then donate the land to a local land trust if they do not want it. If the local land trust declines, the municipality may sell the land at a public auction.
