The Wossman High School Wildcats boys' basketball team achieved the title of Louisiana High School Athletic Association 2026 Division II Non-Select state runner-up. The team, led by Head Coach Casey Jones and Assistant Coaches O. Brass, A. Burton, C. J. Jones, D. Riley, D. Comanche, and D. Greely, finished the 2025-26 season with a 22-8 record. Senior Jontae Turpin Jr. contributed twelve points, six rebounds, and three steals in the championship game, while senior shooting guard Roosevelt Dean Jr. added fourteen points.
