Allows acknowledgment of certain acts by simultaneous audiovisual transmission.
Louisiana SB463 amends the Civil Code to allow acknowledgment of certain acts by simultaneous audiovisual transmission. This applies if the party making the acknowledgment is personally known to the notary public or at least one of the two witnesses. The notary public must state in the acknowledgment if the party was personally known to them or identified by a witness. The acknowledgment must occur while all parties participate in a simultaneous audiovisual transmission.
