Louisiana SB434 amends the definition of "drug" to include foods containing vaccines.

Louisiana SB434 amends the State Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Law by adding a definition for "vaccine or vaccine material." It also modifies the definition of "drug" to include any food intended for human consumption that intentionally contains a vaccine or vaccine material. This change takes effect on August 1, 2026.
