Louisiana SB431 amends existing law to require towing and storage companies to have a person available for the release of vehicles or personal property for a minimum of six hours on Saturdays and Sundays. This change supplements the current requirement for normal business hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The bill also includes technical changes and is set to take effect on August 1, 2026.
