Louisiana SB407 updates congressional district boundaries based on the 2020 census.

Louisiana SB407 updates the boundaries of Louisiana's congressional districts based on the 2020 census. The bill specifies the precincts for each of the six districts, effective for the 2028 congressional elections upon gubernatorial approval. For all other purposes, the new districts become effective on January 3, 2029. The bill repeals the previous congressional district law.
