SB390

Louisiana SB390 mandates digital mapping of all utility systems in the state.

Louisiana SB390 requires the Louisiana Public Service Commission to compile a digital map of all utility systems in the state, including electricity, water, natural gas, and wastewater. The map must achieve an accuracy rating of at least 85%. The cost of mapping is to be assessed to the utility system owners. The LPSC can create a grant program to prevent damage to existing utilities and ensure proper documentation. The requirements must be completed by December 31, 2032.
