Introduced·2/27/26
Ment Text

Louisiana SB354 removes sports-related proposition betting from permitted sports wagers and prohibits micro-bets and proposition bets.

Louisiana SB354 amends the definition of "sports wager" to exclude "proposition bets," which are side wagers on parts of a sport or athletic event not concerning the final outcome. The bill also defines "sports micro-bet" as a live proposition bet concerning the outcome of a play or action during an ongoing event. SB354 prohibits these types of bets and adds them to the list of prohibited sports wagers.
