Louisiana SB330 updates school zone identification for automated speed enforcement.

Louisiana SB330 modifies the specifications for identifying school zones equipped with automated speed enforcement. The bill changes the requirement from a painted two-foot-wide yellow stripe across the roadway with "Entering School Zone" in twelve-inch white lettering to the word "SCHOOL" proportionately striped across the lane adjacent to the S1-1 school sign. The word "SCHOOL" must be in twelve-inch white lettering at the entrance to any school zone with automated speed enforcement devices.
