Louisiana SB315 raises the budget cost minimum for professional services contract exemptions from $1,000,000 to $2,000,000.
Louisiana SB315 amends the state's requirements for professional services contracts, specifically for architect, engineer, or landscape architect services. The bill increases the exemption threshold for these contracts from $1,000,000 to $2,000,000, meaning fewer contracts will need to follow the state's procurement rules. This change takes effect upon the governor's signature or automatically if the governor does not act within the specified time frame.
