Louisiana SB247 mandates parish voluntary councils on aging to submit monthly financial information to the legislative auditor.

Louisiana SB247 amends existing law to require each parish voluntary council on aging to submit bank statements to the legislative auditor on a monthly basis. The deadline for submission is the last day of each month. This financial information is subject to audit by the legislative auditor or their authorized representative. The changes will take effect on August 1, 2026.
