Louisiana SB209 amends the Local Government Fair Competition Act to clarify and expand the permissible activities of local governments in providing broadband services. The bill specifies that local governments can provide broadband services through partnerships, joint ventures, or cooperative agreements with public or private entities, and can use grant funds for broadband development.
