Louisiana SB146 allows levee, drainage, and other political subdivisions to designate a website as their official journal.

Louisiana SB146 amends existing law to allow levee, drainage, road, subroad, navigation, and sewerage districts, or other political subdivisions of state and parishes, to designate a website as their official journal. This website must be easily navigable from the homepage, publicly accessible at no cost, and without requiring registration or login. It must include a dedicated section for legal notices, advertisements, proclamations, minutes, ordinances, resolutions, budgets, and other official proceedings.
