Louisiana SB117 provides for the redistricting of Louisiana's congressional districts.

Louisiana SB117 provides for the redistricting of Louisiana's congressional districts. The bill specifies the composition of each of the six congressional districts, detailing the precincts that comprise each district. The new districts become effective upon signature of the governor or lapse of time for gubernatorial action for the 2028 congressional elections. For all other purposes, the new districts become effective at noon on January 3, 2029.
