Commends the Denham Springs High School Robotics Team for winning the FIRST Robotics Pikes Peak Regional Competition.
The Denham Springs High School Robotics Team, known as Denham Venom, won the FIRST Robotics Pikes Peak Regional Competition. The team also won the Magnolia and Bayou Regional Competitions, making them the first team in Louisiana history to sweep three regional competitions. They will represent the state at the FIRST World Championships in Houston, Texas. The team defeated thirty-three teams, including international competitors, and is sponsored by organizations such as NASA, Weyerhauser, and DoD STEM.
