Louisiana HCR47 requests the Department of Children and Family Services, in consultation with the state Department of Education, to study the implementation of online training requirements for school employees on reporting child abuse. The study will consider the feasibility of a searchable database for tracking training completion and the option of in-person training. The Department must submit a report with findings and recommendations to the House and Senate education committees by March 1, 2027.
