Louisiana HCR2 amends and repeals administrative licensing requirements for alternative hair and alternative hair design. The bill defines "alternative hair" as any hair not a person's own, including synthetic hair, wiggery, braids, postich, or any applied hair. "Alternative hair design" is the practice of styling hair by twisting, wrapping, weaving, extending, locking, or braiding the hair using hands or mechanical devices.
