Louisiana HB935 allows TOPS awards to be used for graduate medical sciences at specific institutions.

Louisiana HB935 amends the Taylor Opportunity Program for Students (TOPS) to allow students who complete an undergraduate degree in less than eight semesters to use their remaining TOPS award benefits for a graduate medical sciences program. The eligible institutions must not be members of the Louisiana Association of Independent Colleges and Universities, offer a graduate program in medical sciences, have been physically collocated with a public postsecondary education institution since 2020, and bill tuition and fees through the public institution.
