Louisiana HB874 amends existing law to allow any credential authorized or required by the state to be made available in digitized format on a program accessible through an electronic wallet. The commissioner of administration is required to coordinate with the governing bodies of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the Louisiana High School Athletic Association, and public and private universities and colleges in the state to implement the availability of digitized credentials. This includes bar membership cards, referee credentials, and faculty, staff, and student credentials.
