Complete·6/8/26

Louisiana school board-owned vehicles exempt from tolls on bridges and highways.

Louisiana HB748 amends existing law to exempt any Louisiana school board-owned vehicles from paying tolls on all bridges and highways in the state, except for the Greater New Orleans Expressway. The bill retains the current law that provides free passage for students on school buses and for all Louisiana school board-owned vehicles over all public tolled ferries operated by the state. The exemption applies to all public tolled bridges and roads operated by the state, parish, or municipality, excluding the Greater New Orleans Expressway.
