HB73

Louisiana HB73 allows members of public bodies to vote electronically in public meetings, displaying each member's vote publicly.

Louisiana HB73 amends existing law to authorize electronic voting machines for public meetings, allowing members to vote electronically while displaying each member's vote publicly. This change retains the requirement for votes to be recorded in official documents. The law applies only to future meetings and does not affect any pending litigation.
