Louisiana HB686 prohibits making telephone calls using artificial intelligence without disclosing the use of artificial intelligence.

Louisiana HB686 makes it unlawful to make telephone calls using artificial intelligence without disclosing the use of artificial intelligence at the beginning of the call. The bill uses the same definition of "artificial intelligence" as provided in R.S. 14:73.14. Violators face a fine of up to $750, imprisonment for up to six months, or both.
