Establishes reduced oilfield site restoration fees for certain oil and gas wells.

Louisiana HB637 amends the oilfield site restoration fee calculation for specific types of oil and gas wells. Effective July 1, 2026, the fee for oil produced from certified incapable oil wells will be 50% of the fee for full rate production oil. For oil produced from stripper oil wells, the fee will be 25% of the full rate production oil fee. For gas produced from low pressure oil wells, the fee will be 40% of the full rate production gas fee. For gas produced from incapable gas wells, the fee will be 17.5% of the full rate production gas fee.
