Allows sale of consumable hemp products at retail locations with a Class A permit for alcoholic beverages.
Louisiana HB539 repeals a prohibition on selling consumable hemp products at retail locations that hold a Class A permit for on-premises alcoholic beverage sales, such as bars and restaurants. The bill removes restrictions on where consumable hemp products can be sold, effective upon the governor's signature or lapse of time for gubernatorial action. This change allows businesses with a Class A permit to also sell consumable hemp products.
