This bill increases the maximum additional civil filing fee in the Juvenile Court of East Baton Rouge Parish from $15 to $75. It also replaces the chief judge with the judges of the court, sitting en banc, for purposes of administering the judicial expense fund. The fund can be used for any purpose related to the proper administration of the court, including salaries, equipment, and supplies. The bill retains the prohibition on paying judicial salaries from the fund.
